Which ones? I will drive down this weekend and speak to them, on camera. That should NEVER happen in Texas. I will not abide it.
I agree with you totally.
I’m from Calif and it seems that ALL Indian people I meet recently are amazingly rude, grabbing, scowling and pushing.
It is strange, as they enjoy this Shangri-La reputation as quiet engineers —that image is completely ridiculous.
It’s more like Gypsie used car dealers in a rush to go to Harvard —extremely strange.
Thanks for the tips. We use 4 of the 6 you mentioned.
If only they could all be like the Sagebrush Inn in Taos. One of our favorites in the southwest.
You’re welcome!
With the name Patel surprised he didn’t try to eat the dog. Most sleazy motels are owned by Patel it seems they usually are dirty with old furniture and have a smell like incenses burning most can hardly speak English.
There is good and bad everywhere, whether the name is Patel or Jones.
I inspected a white guy at a hotel in NM who had a sign outside his hotel saying American owned and it was the filthiest, most rundown place you’d want to see. Our company pulled his flag over many issues, one of them being the American owned sign that he refused to take down.

Have you ever seen pictures of Indian trains at rush hour? These people grew up dealing with teeming masses of people, hence their propensity to push their way around here. With all of Asia, it’s pretty much the same story. Oh well, if we keep allowing essentially unfettered immigration, the US will end up a country of teeming masses too.
typical dumb *** indian, can’t be educated because they know way more then the average american.... NOT
When we drive down to Hell (aka CA) to see our daughter and grandchildren, we stop halfway in Caldwell ID The only place we stay is La Quinta. The town and motel is 20 miles off our route, but worth it. It is the only place that allows dogs.. and dogs stay for free. We are given a cute note about what great guests dogs are along with a dog biscuit.
We have AAA and La Quinta rewards. The place is always clean. The pet area is clean and easily accessible. They have a nice table and chairs out of the way for smokers to imbibe near the pet area. We appreciate this little touch.
Yep, always a safe harbor for some.
