The flyer card says “This election is much greater than political parties and affiliations.”
But here’s the thing...it’s a REPUBLICAN primary runoff. That is, the REPUBLICANS are choosing who they want to be their candidate against the DEMOCRAT, who has already been chosen by the DEMOCRATS.
Do you not understand this HALEY??? With all your political experience???
But these are the tactics of the GOP Mafia! Anything to maintain power!
It's the Obamocrats and the Republocrats for government versus the Tea Party and Americans for freedom.
Whosgonnawin?
This is a recurring theme with this bunch, Oprah, others talking about our lack of "respect". Scary stuff.
I think there is a good lesson I this for us. Had McDaniel supporters given a little more, done a little more, he would have won first time around. How many did nothing, gave nothing?
Get involved, it’s your future. No regrets.
Someone remind me how continuing to support the GOP is not openly supporting Democrats.
Lindsey Graham wins his elections much the same way on the backs of democratic voters.
I never got over how quickly all his countless signs came down after primary day to be replaced with those of Democrat’s.
Does Cochran expect these Rats to vote for him in November? Because the GOP base in MS sure isn’t going to after his dirty tactics to get the nomination.
“Someone remind me how continuing to support the GOP is not openly supporting Democrats.”
They certainly do run together. One thing Im sure of is even if Cochran wins this time, it will be his last term in office after what he did to win. Republican primary voters in Mississippi will give it to McDaniel next time.
No, they expect the dems to win. they are afterall working actively for that very thing.
This is crossing a line the establishment can’t backtrack from.
The GOPe’s playing the race card just like democrats.
The GOP is corrupt, desperate and leaderless.
And soon to be dead.
But Norm, the GOP is the lessor evil.
Someone please tell me again why I should remain a republican.
“Someone please tell me again why I should remain a republican.”
I stay a republican because I like to take a stand, dammit! I don’t want to be an “independent” or “unenrolled.”
I like the looks on the old lady’s faces at election time when they have to hand me a republican ballot.
Abraham Lincoln was a republican, Calvin Coolidge was a republican. Ronald Reagan was a republican. I like being associated with these people.
Indeed. Lesser principles too. Lesser spine, lesser testicles...Lesser American really.
Even lessor America in the future, as well.
Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, John McCain, Lindsey Graham - I don't like being associated with these people.
No, we got to lesser America thanks to electing that lesser evil already.Tthe problem is that many of the people responsible are proud of themselves and want more of it.
Obviously they are happy with the situation since every day I read on FR several people condemning others for the stubborn refusal to help them keep electing more like them.
