Why do Super Bowl winners call themselves world champions

Because there is not another team in the world who could make it through the playoffs and win the Super Bowl. It's not like soccer or hockey, where there is enough international competition to make such a claim questionable.

Yep. Even the biggest America bashers have got to accept the fact that we have the very best athletes when it comes to NFL football.

Sure Cuba and the Dominican Republic can give us a run for our money in baseball.

Then again, we poach their best players for MLB.

And foreigners can "learn" basketball, but can they touch the US?

And soccer? Yeah, we stink.

But who cares?
