If Jesus was referring to being shot with a Kalashnikov instead of a simple slap on the cheek, he would have said “fall face down and don’t get up” instead.

I think Jesus must have been referring to the people of his community. "Turn the other cheek" works well within a culture that emphasizes cooperation.

It doesn't work with Islam.

And to think the West was suicidally stupid and allowed these sub-humans into our countries. For every Christian killed there should be retribution exacted. It’s the only law these savages understand.

And nations do not have to “the other cheek.” That’s why God gave us the blessing of the atomic bomb to end World War II.

ISIS/ISIL is officially Salafi. To put is rather simply: “Salaf” is a reference to ‘the pious predecessors’. Wahabi, refers to people who follow the teachings of abdul Wahab, a teacher who was once thrown out of Iraq for heretical teachings, but who gained popularity with the tribal masses in Saudi Arabia. The term ‘Wahabi’ is said to be somewhat derogatory since it refers to a single person not ‘the pious predecessors’ ie the first 3 generations of Islam, collectively.
