The author certainly has a snide attitude, but I think this info makes Brat all the more interesting, at least.

“Im a little bit nervous about the idea of being affiliated with four different churches.”
I don’t have a problem with it. Sounds like he is a serious Christian and dissatisfied with either the local church or certain items in a given denomination.
I am Catholic, but have taken to attending a Bible Church because my local priest is a racist and a communist of the South American variety.

Agreed. If nothing else, it shows him to be open-minded. We have a local Catholic College (St. Vincent) which is considered one of the better conservative colleges in the nation and a sharp contrast to the Marxist theorists who call themselves Jesuits.
The term "Calvinist" is also highly generic. They range from some of the very tolerant (or traditional in the conservative sense) Presbyterian sects to the "my way or the highway, anyone who doesn't believe exactly like me is going straight to hell especially Mormons and Catholics" who haunt this forum from time to time.
Religious bigotry is a libtard value, not a conservative one.
