Great, George Zimmerman is a broke and broken man 2.5 mil in debt and Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin are sitting pretty as professional victims.

And Zimmerman is still under investigation by Eric Holder.

Holder has still not filed federal civil rights violation charges against Zimmerman. At this point, can we assume it will never happen? If Holder did so, it would be very controversial, to say the least.

As I recall, two political “Ricks” came out swinging against Zimmermann, Santorum and Scott, even without waiting for facts. Did any politico defend him? I have forgotten.

They may be saving federal charges for when something really earth-shattering happens and they need to divert attention back to Zimmermann, who is not popular.

I’m of the opinion that George should write a book about the incident and the trial. Use the proceeds to pay off his attorney fees.

Then write a book about the time after the trial, his divorce, lessons learned, and his general outlook on life now. Use the proceeds to either finish paying off his lawyer, finish college, start a business, etc.

If I recall correctly, public opinion polls at the time were strongly against filing civil rights charges, and going for a civil rights trial of Zimmerman. Politically, isn’t this risky for the president to go there???

Of course, it would fire up the liberal base who pushed this case in the first place, but I think it’s politically risky for Obama to get Eric Holder to do this.

Why has GZ not gone after the media who lied outright about him?
