Just barely. 50.1%. It’s going to be a squeaker.
They used Harrison Co. to screw the vote. Gulfport. That was all they needed to put TC over the top. Traitors for money and power. F’em all.
What counties are still outstanding? Are they McDaniel strongholds or not?
Nerve wracking watching this!
Don’t know what counties will go McDaniel but the link at the beginning of the thread takes you to the election results and it shows 4 counties still not reporting. It’s a great site, one of the best I’ve seen.
Why are those 4 not reporting? Is this like Chicago were suddenly the votes the Machine needs to win get found in those four counties?
It’s Mississippi. There’s no rush. Slow down and relax.;^)
Sorry. I just really, really, really want to see Cochran, and all he stands for, go down to defeat.
It’s a real nail biter now and it looks like there will be a runoff. McDaniel back below 50%.
Going to bed. Hope it turns out OK for McDaniels. G’night.
Watch Warren and Rankin counties.
It all hinges on Jackson. McDaniel is getting trounced. There may not be enough votes in the rest of the unreported precincts to pull him over 50% or keep Cochran under.
Why is that?
Pollutico is showing Jackson as reporting 100%, with Chris at 49% and thad at 47%.
Look at the county map. Madison county he lost big. Hinds county he’s losing big. He’s hanging on in Rankin county but just barely. Those three are the Jackson area with the biggest unreported vote concentration. There are other counties that have unreported precincts but their vote counts are minimal.
He’s holding his lead with more coming in. At 49.5 to 49.0
Runoff is looking very plausible.
Any idea on which way Carey voters would go?
