Dangit, I thought this was the thread on the POW and Susan Rice’s statement that Qatar negotiated the release of the terrorists.

Brazil hasn’t finished most of their venues.

Here is an idea: The winning country should get the 2022 World Cup and other countries should chip in for the venues.

Just a thought.

The US has all its infastructure in place. They could hold the 2014 World Cup with a few months lead time, I bet. If Qatar gets booted from the 2022 Cup, I’d expect it to come to America.

Yep. In most metro areas there are multiple stadiums, including college ones, that could be used.
