1. When I logged onto Mark L’s app this morning, it is cumpletely FUBAR and no updates occur...
2. Tried to get to Dana Loesch’s podcasts at work and the 97.1 FM site is FUBAR and won’t load....

I look at it the way a FReeper firefighter explained it one day. When "Big Red" comes toward you, you WILL move. Fire is so awful that if you have the choice of burning to death or jumping, as did the people on 9/11, you'll jump.

It takes a long time in a scandal for Obama to finally tell someone it's time to go. But a political "Big Red" moved toward Obama on this and he MOVED! Republicans were critical of course, but Democrats must have been screaming in panic at Obama, such was the unforgivable actions taken against our veterans. Wait a while, and maybe we will find out just how hot this got for Obama.

And congratulations to the West Point cadets for their lack of enthusiasm for the Creep in Chief.

Mark Steyn is great.I saw him speak near Boston about a year ago and he was better than when he subs for Rush.In person he's a little more bawdy than on the air...but he doesn't overboard.

BARACK OBAMA: You see, American influence is always stronger when we lead by example. We cannot exempt ourselves from the rules that apply to everyone else. We can’t call on others to make commitments to combat climate change if so many of our political leaders deny that it is taking place. It’s a lot harder to call on China to resolve its maritime disputes under the Law of the Sea Convention when the United States Senate has refused to ratify it – despite the repeated insistence of our top military leaders that the treaty advances our national security. I believe in American exceptionalism with every fiber of my being. But what makes us exceptional is not our ability to flout international norms and the rule of law; it’s our willingness to affirm them through our actions. That’s why I will continue to push to close GTMO – because American values and legal traditions don’t permit the indefinite detention of people beyond our borders. That’s why we are putting in place new restrictions on how America collects and uses intelligence – because we will have fewer partners and be less effective if a perception takes hold that we are conducting surveillance against ordinary citizens. America does not simply stand for stability, or the absence of conflict, no matter what the price; we stand for the more lasting peace that can only come through opportunity and freedom for people everywhere.
