Hi Red,
Be nice to retire this thing now that we’re at the end of the month and many are getting their paychecks.
I wonder why freepathon givers procrastinate for 2 months. I imagine most of them know that they’re giving.
GREAT POSTED IMAGE!

What is the price of staying WELL INFORMED?
Is it a price one is willing to pay?
Is a penny a post, put in a jar
Enough to keep FR on Par?
What would it cost to NOT pay a price,
To live the Entitled Life?
With FR gone,
How would one stay WELL INFORMED?
What is the price, just right for yourself?
What is the cost for Jim’s Site?
Balance your price, then add a cost factor,
And send it as regular Patriots would.
The Cause you pay for,
Will then help us stay
Red, White and Blue.
Maybe the same FReepers donate several times and can only afford so much each time.
The times are tough I guess.
Of course in an ideal situation everyone would donate.
Thank you. The volume and diversity of ideas, the comraderie and the knowledge base here on FR inspired that.
A great bunch of patriots!
My thanks to Jim and John and all who maintain and contribute to Free Republic.
I’m a proud monthly donor!
Jim and John Robinson have built the best conversation website on earth, and, praise God, it supports small government conservatism.
I agree. Heartfelt thanks to them!
Bumping the reality that 5% of us support what’s happening on Free Republic. The other 95% of users are Freep Loaders.
Appears to be a lot of FreepLoaders on Free Republic like in the rest of America.
To the non donors, if you use and like Free Republic, please donate $5/month to pay for your timeshare.
Real conservatives never ask someone else to pay for their use of anything.
What? No charts?!
I earned my powerpoint ranger tab years ago
when I left the army I swore never to do charts again
I, took was struck by the low response to freep-a-thons. I had always assumed it was better than it is. So many of the conservatives cannot be among the destitute that they cannot give even $5. Surely not 95%. Granted, some of that 95% could be surfers, lurkers. But when you sign up, begin posting, sharing ideas, expressing opinions, blasting the powers that be in our government, then at that point you’ve become a participant.
At some point EARLY ON in that process of participating, a person should realize what a treasure Free Republic is, and how important it is to keep it alive.
How hard can it really be to give $20, much less $5? I know there are exceptions and extreme cases, but Free Republic is the ONLY voice of small government conservatism for the little guy. I’m not shy at all to ask a freeper participant to sacrifice because of that. If someone says to me they’re tight on funds, then I’m gonna say, “Sacrifice, anyway. FR is the only voice you have left.”
