You knew that was coming.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
You know a Republican would have been kept off the ballot in the same situation.

In that district is there even a need for a Republican to be on the ballot?

Democrats run crooked elections, enabled by their pimps in the judiciary.

So any rules in any state as to qualifying for a place on the ballot are likely impairing a persons ‘right’ to be on the ballot? The only rule left then is that there are no rules? He couldn’t get 1000 good signatures. Feels like a pretty low threshold.

The gist of it:
____________________________________________________________
But Leitman said the signatures from at least two ciruclators who were found to have not registered properly to vote, a requirement under state law, should be reinstated, giving Conyers enough valid signatures to be on the ballot.
There is evidence that their failure to comply with the Registration Statute was the result of good faith mistakes and that they believed they were in compliance with the statute, Leitman said in his ruling.
“They meant well!”

Thad McCotter.
The same secretary of state, Ruth Johnson (a good one) applied the law equally. McCotter stepped down with honor, Conyers got himself a judge to overrule longstanding Michigan law.

In 2012 the GOP candidate got a little under 40,000 votes out of some 280,000+ cast.
Long way to go to even be competitive.

Ignorance of the law is excused. Conyers would have won easily in a write in and the
law could have been followed. JMO.
