Grrrr!
Yeah, it could read something like this:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
That crystal-clear text has been avoided, re-interpreted, nibbled at, and simply ignored by a government that has deliberately violated its charge and exceeded the boundary of its powers. Had we a government with a shadow of political legitimacy left we wouldn't even be having this conversation.
Apparently most of these stupid cops get their training from watching cop shows on TV.
Getting shot really does hurt you dumbasses; you don’t just get a pretty little shoulder or leg bandage and then go out to have a drink with your cop buddies after work.
“a laptop computer, two walkie-talkies, a 9-mm pistol, and three cellphones”
Oh Crxx, I’m a dead man.
It depends. Do you have any zip lock baggies in your house? Do you have a scale in your kitchen?
That tired old excuse of they might flush it is just pure bu#lsh#t. Any amount over a very few ounces would have to be broken up just to get by the built in trap in the toilet.
If you had a kilo or a whole pound wrapped up you would have to cut it up to flush it; just try it with a wrapped pound of flour or hamburger, it ain’t gonna go all the way down.
If they have to cut it up there will be residue in the bathroom.
Any good plumber or city public works department can recover what ever did go down.
So it’s a BU#LSH#T excuse for storm trooper tactics.
Yes to all 3 items; plus a 4th, I keep a loaded 45 in the kitchen at all times.
Thanks, bamahead.
>> raid that left one Killeen police officer dead and another injured
Unfortunate and unnecessary loss of life. I regret the casualties. Sadly, civilians are expendable with indifference as far as law/policy is concerned.
