The only toll road in Ohio is The Ohio Turnpike (I80/I90) that runs across northern Ohio. Nowhere near Columbus.
I think Connecticut is better businesswise than New York. E-tail is booming and I’m helping someone starting an online business.
Lease plus-size womens apparel?
Columbus has always had a good employment factor - even when the economy was tanking. Yes, it is run by Democrats, but mostly Republican Governors. Actually, Coleman is a pretty good mayor in Columbus. I will duck and run now that I’ve given a RAT kudos.
Espeially DeBlasio’s NYC.
CT has recently become a Democratic disaster, with dozens of taxes raised and the slowest growth in the country. The subsidize some tech startups.
“They never talk about the small print- any tax advantage is only good for ten years and then you and your business must bend over like the rest of the New Yorkers...”
Most of these deals involve hiring a certain percentage of locals, which in some parts of NY mean having a certain percentage of your payroll occupied by unemployable gibsmedats with no job skills. Even worse, to spread the misery without the stigma of higher taxes local governments will simply crush you with “fees”.
I would love to see 3 congress seats turn R in CT - the 2nd, 4th and 5th.
Beat me to it.
You’re absolutely right about Bridgeport. I wish I had your confidence in the GOP comeback.
