Your second statement answered your question. End times.
I thought the Drudge Report said the Satanic Temple would take on this desecration at some date, but then this is surely a regular event for them. I, maybe, read through the report too fast, but it is not over as far as the Temple is concerned, but brings the attention, bouncing off the publicity of the Harvard “study club”.
Oh don’t get me wrong. It is still evil and wrong in every way possible. But It isn’t a real Black mass.
People miss this and it is important. It is one thing for a non christian to look at a communion wafer being desecrated and call it a cultural religious difference. It is quite another to recognize and accept human sacrifice.
Thus it is easier to make Satanism ‘just another faith of many’ over what the world views as a piece of bread. Not so with a baby/child being decapped with a knife.
But killing that innocent, killing/corrupting what God holds most dear, is a part of the truth of the Satanic Black Mass and the ‘faith’ of Satanism.
And then there’s what they do BEFORE killing the innocent.
This is falling into the same river of whine as liberals do... oh, our folks aren’t privileged enough.
It's all symbolic actions that have real effect. But today it's trivial to kill a baby: just take a pill on scene - it's legal. Besides, one can kill a chicken, or a mouse - the audience does not need to see it, but it will be done nevertheless.
However in the larger picture it does not matter how far they go this time because there will be the next time, and the time after that... and eventually every performance of this sort will involve a ritual killing of an animal. The audience will be ready for that; no, not just ready - the audience will be expecting that.
My point was that a group that prides itself on ‘free expression’ sure seems to lean liberal.
If that was your point too, I was too dense to see it :)
I agree. Wait until they get to the sodomy part during the sacrifice. Perhaps then the audience/general public will notice something a bit ‘extreme’.
I doubt this is the first time such a thing has either been mimed or actually carried out on these shores either. People act as though it was “the devil came down to the USA” when he’s been dancing around here nonstop already.
For whatever it’s worth (wroth?) even Harvard didn’t dream this one up. A crazy group decided to see if they could hitch off the Harvard name, and even Harvard’s president told them to take a hike.
Since a Harvard slogan is “To hell with Yale” then why didn’t they suggest the “reenactment” to be at their rival?
I guess if Bill Gates is as conservative as one gets, sure, but again be careful not to fall into the river of whine.
Demonic titillation doesn’t find a stopping place until it runs head on into God.
There have been black masses in constant ‘use’ since the pilgrims landed. Hollywood was infamous for it back in the early days among the ‘elite’. Plenty of info about it and documented. Plenty of rumor too.
This is just the first time someone took it out of the back rooms/mansions and put it in peoples faces as something real.
And it would be ersatz... my doubt-o-meter is going off big time about this being the first ersatz black Mass that showed its face to the public. I mean that would be considered downright TAME today.
And anyhow what would be an evangelical equivalent? Doing something rude to a bible? The evangelical segment of Christendom has, at least, kept Christendom from getting too full of itself on these shores.
Well, when was the last time you saw one advertized on news shows/newspapers? Discusses by talking heads? What I am saying is that this is a full frontal push.
Sure they have been around. I said that. But not so openly or in a favorable light.
Maybe I misread it, but I gather that the Satanic Temple is in New York. I imagine they have Black Masses of one kind or another, and I wish they didn’t exist, but at least they aren’t involving numerous other people in their monstrous doings.
I wasn’t clear when I read the article whether they hope to find some place to have a Black Mass in the Boston area, or whether they will return to New York for it.
I thought about doing a Google search for Satanic Temple, but decided not to—I really don’t want to get anywhere near those people.
I’m not whining. I could care less about who Ivy League commencement speakers are. I’m just saying that their ‘commitment to free expression’ is almost exclusively left wing. In other words, it’s bogus.
There is an equivalent to a Black Mass inside christianity? What/where are you going with this? I am confused.
I’m thinking that surely there have been theater companies that would do this. If they will put on other trash, why would they stop at an ersatz you know what.
I mean, playing off of evangelical practices... not “WITHIN” Christianity. I hope the obvious is obvious.
