Oh, for pete’s sake. Stay on topic. This thread is not about whether some people despise the Catholic Church. It is about whether Harvard University should permit its private property to be used for anti-Catholic hate speech in view that Harvard is exquisitely sensitive about the rights of any and all non-Christian minority groups.
You know, if they had continued with their plan to carry out the desecration, it would have been fun to have the Patriot Guard Riders and Rolling Thunder show up to escort the folks in and out of the building, as they often have done when Westboro Baptist Church looies announce they will attempt to desecrate a funeral. Also the National Enquirer, the DailyMail and any other news outlets that wished to photograph the attendees arriving or leaving...
Thank you for auditing my post concerning the undifferentiated contempt for Satanism and Catholicism. I look forward to reading whatever insight you have to offer on similar matters in the future.
I would call it an analysis of probabilities, and I hope your musings are substantially what happened. As I've observed before, Harvard could have made a point that the proposed obscenity should have to use some other site but the Memorial Hall to Harvard's Civil War dead. That none of the principals has mentioned this has bothered me a lot.
I think it may have been because of the nature of the location, the Queen's Head, which is available outside of business hours for private rental. It was one extra step of separation between the administration and the night schoolers. They weren't using free space provided by Harvard to recognized student groups, but rather were obtaining space in an arms-length rental on an equal footing with any other member of the community.

Who, me or Oprah?
Seriesly, God's Word clearly specifies that the "man of perdition" is male, and a homosexual (the gay part is in Daniel). I could totally see her as the False Prophet, though.
“NEVER”?
You lie.
The post I replied to was:
“Wonder if this is meant to bring Antichrist into the world.”
And you are also incorrect in your statement regarding the Catholic response being mentioned in the referenced source on this thread.
I understand that you might be monitoring numerous posts and threads regarding this particular topic.
“The Event” had not yet occurred, at the time of my post, and did not happen, ultimately.
There are many actual evil events in this world that could be easily countered by prayerful Catholics knowingly acting in prayer against them.
This sort of inane, atheistic, media driven anti-Christian publicity stunt is pretty low on that list of priorities.
But hey, thanks for your help in helping stop the antichrist!
Prayer works; on that we agree. Usually benefits the intercessor as well as the entity prayed for.
Have a blessed day!
Show me. After a ton of protest, Dr. Faust finally got around to denouncing it. That's not the same as telling it to go away. Accusations such as the above are offensive, since if you feel that way, the obligation is on you to prove it with a citation.
