Sounds like they were practicing for what will really happen if they try to attack one of our carrier groups.

I know there's a reason submarines aren't supposed to have screen doors, but maybe the Iranian navy thought they could add such an innovation using this product:

...loss of a Ghadir was accompanied by talk of some new stealth technology...

Apparently that stealth tech works really, REALLY well...

Vessel in question:

Pretty fugly and even on batteries looks to have a good deal of noisy additions to the hull.

Either 1, that sub is now sitting in drydock in Israel or 2, the sub is sitting in the hull of a US warship, on it’s way back to Norfolk. Or 3, no such sub exists.

Well played my friend, well played...

Why would the USA or Isreal care. That think looks almost WW2 vintage.

Probably sprung a leak and sunk.

The Iranians would love to sink an American Carrier, regardless of the cost to the crews. It would be a SHTF scenario on the scale of Pearl Harbor. Now, not to be cynical, and suggest that the sinking of an American Carrier could ever be a false flag operation, but Obama’s Presidency is tanking. I’ll leave it at that.
