Rev. Wright’s fruit has indeed fallen close to its tree.

OK I looked it up, apparently Wright’s daughter Jeri Wright helped Evans by depositing and kicking back funds to Evans

Yes, she's The Rev's daughter. She's awaiting sentencing.

Yes, see Liz's post 12 for the rundown. I remember this story from awhile ago about the association of Evans and Wright's daughter, Jeri. Most laughable is her comparison of sentences to JJ Jr......these people are detestable.

A mistake is an inadvertent action. This was a calm, premeditated, and calculating criminal act.
It is an excellent reason to keep her from her son and her family in order to show them there are consequences and so she is less likely to infect them with her criminal behavior.
If she got off with a lighter sentence, she, and her family, would be partying and thumbing their noses at the system.

The prosecution was for not properly sharing the wealth, not for stealing.
Otherwise half of the Chicago LEOs and Pols would be locked up.

Looking back in the history of the _resident of the white hut, I wonder how many MILLIONS he was able to steal when he and Bill Ayers were in charge of the ANNENBERG CHALLENGE monies. If I recall, the amount was $50,000,000 for Chicago alone. The whole city is on the take. It has been that way for a very long time. How else was Al Capone able to do so well in the Windy City of Crime?
