Loyalty?
Dude has his head in a grinder?
Geeesssh.
Mitch’s day has come and gone,, and so apparently has Rand’s.
Has Ted Cruz done this? I.e., supported an incumbent dirtbag against a Tea Party challenger?
Either Rand has sold out, or he is playing Good Cop/ Bad Cop tot he GOP Elite with Ted Cruz acting as “Bad Cop” when dealing with the GOP Elite...
Rand could be doing this to try to cement himself as the establishment counter choice to Ted Cruz....
I hope to heck my theory is true...
What's the matter, Rand? Afraid to admit it publicly?
That’s why I’m leaning toward Cruz. I want the Bad Cop.
Because it suits his needs.... Not the country’s
What a terrible answer. Rand Paul keeps proving he is not ready for prime time.
I want to know how many episodes like this it will take for people to accept that he’s no Conservative. I want to know as well what people get out of making excuses for his excuses.
He has repeatedly said and done things that are blatantly working against what conservatives traditionally believe. Those are the facts. Is this going to be another Romney fiasco come election time where ‘conservatives’ stand here and call a guy that is screwing them daily a ‘better option’ than the other guy screwing them daily?
Folks, he supports one of the biggest anticonservatives in the GOP...PERIOD. Anyone supporting that man is supporting their own demise.
Apparently the same suit though.
My tagline: To win the country back, we need to be as mean as the libs say we are.
[ Thats why Im leaning toward Cruz. I want the Bad Cop. ]
We NEED the Bad Cop because the Perp (Dem Controlled FedGov) is outright unreasonable...
Well said.
We already see that argument used and we don't even know who is running yet, ""sure Paul is not perfect BUT at least Paul is better than Hillary"".
I fully get that no pol is perfect and 100% on board with each of us. But this is nuts. this guy has time and again crapped on the conservative base and a portion of them say it smells like roses.
Stockholm Syndrome is about the only thing that explains it. Or willful intent to perpetuate our destruction. Because it provably is not to advance our cause.
I know. and it makes me crazy. People doing that have to be GOP plants. Nothing else makes sense. And they should be treated as such for their actions until proven otherwise.
I’ve had it with Rand. I’ve given him too many chances to prove himself to me, and he’s fallen short.
Cruz all the way.
A very revealing thing about Rand, is how incoherent he is about simple issues, before he and his team can work out a method of dealing with conservatives.
From foreign policy to domestic issues, Rand can be seen desperately seeking some way to avoid giving a position.
Here is an example on “gay marriage”, see if you can make sense of this.
Rand Pauls Same-Sex Marriage Plan: Continue The Debate For Another Couple Of Decades
“Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) opposes same-sex marriage, but his tactics for doing so are unique. For example, last month he offered a completely unfeasible suggestion to simply erase any mention of marriage from the laws and establish all its protections through various contracts. But he really isnt interested in taking any steps to help that along. In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network this weekend, he expressed hope that by continuing to allow individual states to decide, the debate on same-sex marriage might continue unresolved for several decades:
PAUL: Where marriage is adjudicated, whether its at the federal level or at the state level, weve always had marriage certificates and weve had them at the state level. If we keep it that way, maybe we can still have the discussion go on without make the decision go all the way one way or all the way the other way.
I think right now if we say were only going to have a federally mandated one-man, one-woman marriage, were going to lose that battle because the country is going the other way right now. If we were to say each state can decide, I think a good 25, 30 states still do believe in traditional marriage, and maybe we allow that debate to go on for another couple of decades and see if we can still win back the hearts and minds of people.”
Cruz has refused to take a stand one way or the other in any primary where a sitting senator is running opposed. The only time he's taking a stand is where there is no incumbant, like Oklahoma.
