We ought to call this thing “Occupy Nevada” or something.

Good idea!

Why is he doing that? The Supreme Court has already ruled that the local sheriff, being the highest elected law enforcement officer has jurisdiction over any and all other state and federal law enforcement.

This is his domain and he be acting accordingly.

I don’t know if this site is credible or the news is current, but the sheriff seems to be sitting this one out:

http://beforeitsnews.com/alternative/2014/04/nevada-clark-county-sheriff-douglas-gillespi-refuses-to-stand-for-constitutional-rights-of-nevada-rancher-cliven-bundy-2934550.html

You can make up your own mind, but he seems to be a desk ornament.

If Gov Sandoval would just stand up and kick the Feds out of the state to difuse the situation he would be a hero.

You're exactly right! I just wish that for ONCE, a Republican governor would tell the feds and any fed judges to just pound sand! It is about time that a Republcan governor or so-called "conservative" would grow a pair of balls and issue an executive order of his own, nullifying any fed rulings against the state's constitutions or legislative laws.

In this particular case, Gov Sandoval should order his state police to disarm the fed BML agents and to escort them out of the state.

The Governors have lost their courage. I think they have allowed the Feds over time to make them believe they don’t have sovereign rights.

Our repulican GA governor Nathan “Raw” Deal would do nothing to protect us. If push comes to shove the citizens and the sheriff’s will have to take care of it and in GA it won’t be a problem.

Seems like this time we’re gonna see who has bigger tools.

I suspect BLM will wait until the citizen posse goes home and then they will come down on this family en masse, once and for all and be done with it.
