I’m sure they were high-fiving themselves all night —

Damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

Run toward the police, get shot for aggression.

Run the opposite direction, get shot for fleeing from the police.

Reminds me of a guy I went to high school with.

He had grown up in the city.

He was over 6ft tall but would almost kill himself running from a dragonfly.

Why can’t they just zap em with a long range taser?

We no longer have police officers. We have Monsters in body armor and trained in SWAT.

Well, at least the cops made it home safely. That’s the important thing.

Well everyone knows that. And, a big plus, they got to kill someone. Nothing like the thrill of killing someone and knowing you'll get away with it.

We no longer have police officers. We have Monsters in body armor and trained in SWAT.

And until they are criminally prosecuted and held PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE for their actions this trend will accelerate.

three officers, all too quick on the trigger

What would happen to one of us peasants if we shot and killed someone running towards us I wonder?

The police can say whatever they want

Reminds me of something that happened at least 25 years ago in Ellicott City, maryland. A jewelry store was getting robbed and the owner tripped the alarm. The police arrived before the robbers escaped, so they took the owner hostage. The robbers demanded a car which they got, and came out with the owner. The cops took the shot killed the store owner, and the robbers escaped and were never caught, nor were there any consequences to the heroes who made the shot.

That’s because the criminal justice system is there to protect the criminal from the law-abiding...really!

I read somewhere about a study of when a private citizen (concealed carry) shoots during a deadly situation vs when law enforcement shoots during a deadly situation. Turns out you/me/we (as bystanders) are far safer when it is the private citizen ending it.

They don’t carry guns to protect you.
