Anyone still believe Obamacare was about increasing health insurance coverage and not about increasing government control over private lives?
I’m scheduled to go onto my employer’s health plan come November anyway, and I’d rather wait for that than take my chances with healthcare.gov, which so far sounds like nothing more than another government screwup.
I think then we’ll just start seeing more calls for single-payer healthcare. So far, that’s the most I’ve been seeing when people criticize Obamacare (absurdly calling it a capitalistic solution).
They would still be eligible for employer insurance through Cobra if they can afford it. Being terminated from employment would be a qualifying event, so they could sign up via a government run exchange..
Well that’s because people only need to buy insurance during ‘oepn enrollment period’ for 3 months out of each year.
What the workers do for the remaining 9 months, i dont know
