I am now re-watching it again.
General McInerny mentions Immarsat data to support the idea that MH370 could have evaded detection by “shadowing” Singapore’s flight 68, heading north across India, hiding from their sleepy radar overnight crew .
Start watching at about 4:10 minutes, or a bit before, and you will hear him explain this clearly. Maybe re-play it until you understand what he is saying.
Listen, Uncle Chip. I have no agenda here, other than wanting the truth. You are free, at least at the moment, to make up your own mind about who you choose to trust. It is one of the nice privileges we used to enjoy when we were a free country.
I find your comment about your neighbor’s missing bike ridiculous, but discountable , if it is indicative of the way you analyze information.
Shall I put you down in the “if the .gov says it, it must be true” camp. If so, shame on you for being so gullible.
Another Malaysia news conference going on now. blah blah blah
Get your facts straight.
The ".gov" did not find the likely crash site. That was done by those in private industry -- by scientists at Inmarsat and Boeing operating with verifiable data and well-known scientific principles.
It's the General that you blindly trust who has worked for ".gov" all his life. So who is really gullible here.
translation of one hysterical relative : shrieking ...” Long Live the Communist Party ! Socialism is good ! “
can we possibly lose more planeloads of such Chinese ?
How would the fire have known when to go out, such as to leave the plane in the air until 0811+ Kuala Lumpur time?
They aren’t even sure if they really found the debris... I hope what they found aren’t the debris!
That's because the plane is on Ile Amsterdam, a bit scrapped up by a rough landing.
Another thing I find very strange is the actions of the Chinese. I may be wrong but I never remember China broadcasting people screaming and sobbing and blaming Malaysia for murder while praising communism and socialism. The Chinese tend to keep a lid on such outbursts where they are involved in any way. Of course they hate Malaysia. But it almost seems as if they're exploiting their own citizens for some kind of gain or to hide something.
I actually spoke with a 777 Pilot, who is in no way associated with the search to be clear, that said he spent the afternoon and evening reading everything that has been released and listened to the statement put out. He said unless there is much more information that is being withheld, he's not understanding how they've reached there conclusion.
We'll see what comes out in the next few days.
And, if Gen MCInerny is proved wrong based on his sources, I still give him credit for sticking his neck out based on those he believed. His reputation will be damaged, but if he hadn't of said anything and his theory was correct, it could have been much worse. He took on that burden. Just think of those that knew of 9/11 beforehand. If just one had spoken up...
“how would the fire have known when to go out”
I have no idea. Whatever the facts turn out to be, presuming the plane is in the water, something unusual happened.
I believe it belongs to the company. But even if it doesn't companies will sell time on their satellites to other companies.
Thanks LD
Aircraft don’t have ELT like boats. The ELT will only transmit a signal if its not underwater and it can be picked up on Guard on any radio. You are thinking EPIRB which is satellite based.
I've been a member of the Civil Air Patrol, where we were sent out on SAR missions based on satellite reception of aircraft ELT signals.
HF
General aviation may have satellite ELTs but those are not much use under water. Same same for any on a life raft.
Mal and Val - not Ann and the Old Man. Video
Aha. Youve been spending time reading about that subset of birtherism known as the Worldwide Five-Plus-Decades-Old Mother-of-All-Conspiracies Mal-Val-Unified-Field-Theory havent you? I guarantee, the wildest MH370 theory cant hold a distant candle to Mal-Valism. Theyre not even in the same league.
Pity she didn't have the courtesy to name him, or provide a link. So I won't either.
