One that I'm aware of, and one that posed as a prostitute but wasn't.
I was making note of the situation that raping a prostitute is simply forcing someone to perform their profession for free, like pointing a gun at a mechanic and forcing him to clean your carburetor. You posit violence and injury to the victim. That is a different matter, not included in what a prostitute normally does. I didn't suggest that a person who has been injured should not be compensated or should not be protected.
Look for the Union label.
That settles it. I’m moving to a right to work state.
On the contrary.
She dressed the part, and went to the crossroads seeking to concieve a child. She was willing to go to that length (though Judah had a responsibility to provide her with an heir) and she took payment.
In Genesis 38:26 Judah says that Tamar is more righteous than he, not that what she did was righteous.
Broken people all around.
As am I.
To my mind that was her pretending to be a prostitute. She did not accept payment, she took a pledge in lieu of payment, which she never received.
Putting a more positive spin on that, they're "board certified."
Well then I demand compensation for being raped by the government!
Your argument falls flat on it’s face in the real world ... I used to work nights in a bad area of town and listened to the police scanner for entertainment ... I guarantee you the scenario in reply #15 (below)

Bank teller says to the hooker, Im sorry miss but this check is no good. The hooker yells, Ive been raped!

was one I heard at least twice a week .. not checks of course but the hookers would call the cops and cry rape if they felt the least bit slighted. They just need to learn to suck it up ,, it’s a job hazard ... absolutely no different than having someone complain about your restaurants food just to get a free desert or their meal comped. At least the hookers have lost nothing but a little time unlike the restauranteur.
No, it does not.
I work with a meeting of prostitutes in a methodone rehab on Wednesdays.
Both real rapes amd false accusations are real things that happen, in the real world. And thefts, and rolling passed out Johns for that matter.
Unlike your goofy porn inspired fantasy both happen in real life: one does not preclude the other. Prostitutes are raped and murdered afterwards frequently.
The clue we have here, which you personally seem to gloss over is tbat in the case of this article, criminal convictions were obtained. Realistically the only way that happens even in Cali is for the men to have hurt the girls bad enough for the hospital to take a rape kit seriously, or for the rape to be interrupted, or for the idiots to brag about it, or if there was camera footage. Otherwise the rapes would have produced reasonable doubt because of the types of incidents you are focusing on.
You can never prove rape when it’s a job function ,, just lack of payment ,,, the violence on the other hand is actionable ... you need to stick to what is actionable.
You can never prove theft when selling is a job function.
An interrupted act against a resisting subject, or such an incident captured on camera proves it.
As do cases where the assailant has visible signs of disease. I suppose that there are people stupid enough to believe that herpes sores or AIDS that has reached the visible point or a large rash isn’t a deal breaker for most prostitutes. You certainly maintain a belief in that point.
Most people are more aware of reality than that. Prostitutes do have standards, as regarding their health and safety.
They won’t take a John they know is violent either.
Your obsessed belief that any prostitute would have sex with any client (no exceptions) will fortunately keep you off juries.
Just yanking your chain Mr Ed., lighten up , you’re not responsible for these womens decisions , they are. The pro’s I see walking on Hwy 441 do not have standards, they have a need for meth. I’m glad to hear the HIV+ methadone prescribed beauties in your group are so discerning, it’ll surely keep them out of trouble.
Your projections about my thoughts are inaccurate.
A pledge which she publicly returned to its owner.
