True in more than one way. “Force-olatry” is part of the appeal of buggery. If it weren’t redolent of violence, it wouldn’t thrill. (Not all forces are violent, but buggery obviously is.)

But it also takes a certain mindset to WANT the thrill.

This desire can arise in multiple ways. Sometimes it can be reinforced, if not sparked, by abuse.
