i won't go that far, I'll just vote on the other candidates.

Then nothing will ever change.

precisely, repeal the 17th, impose term limits & no employment agreements
after serving in the federal Congressional & Executive branch/agencies/NGOs.

So, if Chinless wins, can I blame Perry for it from now on? Will this finally put Chinless over the top?

Here’s the scenario: Perry endorses McConnell, then McConnell wins, therefore McConnell is Perry’s fault.

I can’t wait to throw this in the Palin-basher’s faces every time they blame McCain on her.

How funny! I got blasted just two days ago for correctly remembering Rick Perry's highly paid and totally failed performance upon his entry into the 2012 race on this thread: Rick Perry Making Case to Be Taken Seriously in '16

You don't get a second chance to make a good first impression.

Right or wrong, in 2012 the whole nation outside of Texas got a first impression of Rick Perry as the white-male version of Sheila Jackson Lee, only less articulate.

Term limits are no fix for an ignorant electorate dominated by an indentured constituency selecting people nobody knows and funded by their handlers.

*****************************

At least term limits flushes the toilet now and again to rid us of those elected by “an ignorant electorate dominated by an indentured constituency selecting people nobody knows and funded by their handlers” and gives folks like Cruz, etc. a chance to get in and make a difference for what term they have.

You’re shooting down the idea of term limits .... ok, but how about sharing with me what your solution/ideas would be to the current situation with Congress/Senate because educating an ignorant electorate and eliminating an indentured constituency isn’t going to happen in my lifetime.

Bad move, Perry.

“I live in KY. I’ll vote for the Dem before I’ll vote for McConnel. Dead serious.”

That’s not a good idea.

What you should have done was beat him in the primaries.

The Kentucky primary is May 20, 2014.

There is still time to sink McConnell in the Kentucky primary.

McConnell is in trouble in both the primary against Bevin, and if he steals that one, in the general against the Democrat.

That treasonous slimebag needs to go.

I’d say that would definitely shake up the ‘status quo’! :-)

Perry is a conservative and admit it or not he knows the political game more than any of us ever will.

Nope!

We are too heartless anyway, to support an Amnesty Pimp.

Conservative Texans would not vote for Perry for President.

I agree, but there are many Texas FReepers who insist Perry is a die-hard conservative as are they for supporting him. An objective assessment of the man and his record proves he is anything but conservative.

So now they want to make it worse by Voting for Democrats?

Voting for RINOs is the same as voting for any other Tyrant.

Perry was a Democrat until switching parties in 1989 to run for Commisioner of Agriculture against Jim Hightower.

As for calling him a Rover, there was fighting between the Perry camp and Rove camp when Perry was Lt Gov IIRC.

I don’t want him as Prez but he would be a big improvement over our current Sultan.

Well I’m rooting for Matt Bevins all the way but I also can see Perry’s point of view.

I would say that maybe Sarah Palin was looking at it that way when she endorsed Juan McStain. I totally disagreed with that endorsement but I could understand that maybe she was trying to take a long view.

If McConnell wins, I’m going to bash Perry every chance I get. Each and every time Chinless Turtle does something liberal stupid, I’m going to trot this endorsement out and bash to my heart’s content, declaring Chinless to be Perry’s fault.

At least term limits flushes the toilet now and again to rid us of those elected by “an ignorant electorate dominated by an indentured constituency selecting people nobody knows and funded by their handlers” and gives folks like Cruz, etc. a chance to get in and make a difference for what term they have.

And once you've got them you throw them away too, after years spent learning the job. Would you seek a career move like that? Yeah, toss the entire herd including your prized stud bulls and breeding cows, just because you can't figure out which is which.

You’re shooting down the idea of term limits .... ok,

No, the California legislature did that.

ok, but how about sharing with me what your solution/ideas would be to the current situation with Congress/Senate because educating an ignorant electorate and eliminating an indentured constituency isn’t going to happen in my lifetime.

No problemo, and yes, they are my ideas.

We’ll have to disagree on term limits.

Thanks for the link, I’ll take a look.
