“National Latino Evangelical Coalition”, to be more specific.
I know that the Catholics are a single church denomination, and vote pro-immigration, but I don’t think “Evangelical” is like that, if so, then Evangelical headquarters has a problem, because it’s church members sure don’t vote for the pro-immigration party.
Patriotic Catholics and Evangelicals should respond with empty envelopes in the collection basket and a note explaining WHY.
Chaffetz is a traitor.
He won the primary opposing amnesty
I wonder if the Church lobbied the Roman Empire to legalize the illegal immigrant Goths and Vandals.
The Catholics who sit in the pews each week DO NOT SUPPORT their Bishops who seem to be more interested in getting more Hispanics into the US since most Hispanics are Catholic.
Our Bishops for the most part are a bunch of left leaning wusses who consistently fail to speak up on the key issues which are important to lay Catholics.
As the late Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen said,
“WHO IS GOING TO SAVE OUR CHURCH? NOT OUR BISHOPS, NOT OUR PRIESTS AND RELIGIOUS. IT IS UP TO THE PEOPLE. YOU HAVE THE MINDS, THE EYES, THE EARS TO SAVE THE CHURCH. YOUR MISSION IS TO SEE THAT YOUR PRIESTS ACT LIKE PRIESTS, YOUR BISHOPS, LIKE BISHOPS, AND YOUR RELIGIOUS ACT LIKE RELIGIOUS.
Caracalla legalized the Barbarians in order to persecute Christians.

Interesting parallel.
Know the foe.
At its psychological roots, Liberation Theology is really about nothing more than getting laid.
Caracalla also legalized the Barbarians under the guise of getting tax revenue from them, but of course they didn’t have any money so he raised taxes on the non-Barbarians instead.

The illegals need to be deported and it’s O.K. by me if they take Bishop Eusebio Elizondo and the rest of these fellow travelers with them.
Next you’re going to tell me the Barbarians were exempt from Caracallacare too.
Caracalla was Roman emperor of Punic and Syrian (Arab) descent.

I thought it was pretty interesting that Septimius Severus spoke Punic fluently, and Latin with an accent.
Believe me, as a Catholic we get good and tired of butting heads with Bishops, Priests and Religious who are doing None of the Above.
According to the media no one opposes amnesty or something
RCs (generally) are known for being pro-Amnesty, but I don’t know any conservative Christians (evangelicals) who are for it. In fact, most are emphatically against it.
Sadly, the Southern Baptist Convention advocates for amnesty.
A majority of practicing Catholics that I know do not want amnesty. The Church says that a sovereign state has the right to control it’s borders.
