BAD accident this way today though...closed I-35...some folks just do not know that you need to slow down in below zero weather, when light snow is falling....the snow is like adding silicon powder to a hard wood floor, and go sliding in your sock feet!

Damn, that sucks but not the first time I’ve heard it happening to Good Sam. I quit picking-up hitchhikers in bad weather, in the 90s, after so many robberies/beatings/murders in NJ-NYC.
I have 65hrs in EMT-2 training - in 1989-90, for potential farm-related accidents before I opened the business - not certified, but have stopped at numerous farm and road accidents (2 real bad ones) before first responders arrived, and rendered aid. I’d still do it, despite lawsuit risks. It’s my Eagle Scout/Explorer medical training kicking-in, and all the Nurses & Drs influence in my Family which make me do it.

You got pretty snarky on a couple of comments, too!
I have no frigging idea who all those characters are; it’d take me months to figure it all out, but then I don’t watch the show. That’s a major drawback, right there.

A screw-mounted, removable PVC block to accept bi-pod or to keep leather sling away from stock and in straight line back to forearm for wrapping slack, for off-hand and kneeling positions.
Others had folding-down forend as unipod:
