"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton |
|
"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |
|
"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792 |
|
"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams |
|
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |

” - - - “Republicans who lack the will or principles to fight on major issues will still use Obamas obstructionism as the baseline for excuses not to advocate bold initiatives. Whether its a debt ceiling or a budget bill, they will fear brinkmanship with Obama as much as they do now,” Horowitz predicts. - - - “
A Do Nothing RINO is thus basically a Coward, afraid to do his or her job.
If you don’t like your House or Senate Do Nothing RINO, then insist that they resign, PERIOD.

My ancestors formed the Republican party in Michigan, it was during an attempt to stop Buchanan (very liberal) for the 15th Presidency, we lost. After they met with Lincoln for their eventual comeback for the 16th President and election Honest Abe.
The republican party has walked away from my family and history -

“Horowitz notes that, even if the Senate goes GOP in 2014, Obama will still be in the White House in 2015. He’ll still have his veto, his executive order “pen and phone.” Then what?”
His pen and phone won’t seat a single liberal judge.
Let him veto everything and shut down the government, it would be 100% on him in that case.
It wouldn’t take long for the public to support impeaching the commie bastard!

Remember last fall when Sen. Ted Cruz single-handedly forced the biggest, most powerful government in human history to grind to a halt? No. But I remember when Harry Reid did it.

I am still waiting for an explanation on the budget. They told us years ago if elected they would introduce bills that followed sane budget principals, not over spend and adjust budgets to revenue so for a couple years they have had that opportunity.
If they did any of what they told us, why then do we need an increase in the debt limit?

The establishment GOP are totally incapable of understanding how people think.
By avoiding standing for something, they have lost all respect from the people who would vote for them.
They just cannot see that their lack of courage and principle is why they take abuse from the grassroots.
People want fighters who will stand against the communists and all we get are weak sisters, too afraid to act like real men.

Ha. I read the headline earlier as ‘Washington Redskins’ and skipped the article. I couldn’t make any sense of the title. I just came back to FR and read it again...correctly this time.

But how can you expect us to do anything? We doubled our success, but still have only two halves of one branch of government.
These people (Republican congressional “leaders”) are contemptible.
