Is Corning still there?
I wish I lived in Huntsville.
NYS has been hit hard by the anti business climate...
but remember, 60% of people get some benefit from govt....there are tons of state workers and teachers who get wonderful pensions and are not taxed on it...SUNY is a large system with its mitts in every corner of the state....
there's a ripple effect supporting all these govt people....
for the record, NY has a large agricultural business, including fine wines, Chobani started there too I think....NYS cheese is about the best seriously...
lots of heritage and ethnic identification in NYS and a very interesting place to live..
sadly, the southern tier of the state is sitting on a large natural gas area but TPTB won't let them get to it...you would think the state would love to have more millionaires....
I live in HSV and we sure do. People are very excited. Friends on FB are already talking about buying new guns. Let the characters in NY have the state. HSV, AL is good for business. : )

You will be welcomed. AL gets a bad name but I would not want to live anywhere else. I moved here in 1966 after my late husband graduated from Mississippi State University. My daughter is owner of our family business. Her daddy started it in the basement of our house. Check out www.aztechnology.com. I am very proud of her and I know her daddy would be. It is a family business since my 2 grandchildren work there too. If I did, we would be in big trouble!
This at a time when newly elected Marxist DiBlasio of NYC is pressing cuomo to throw some upstate tax revenue to him to fund his ‘mandatory pre-K’ indoctorination agenda.
CA, IL, NY, NJ...te race to the bottom.
4473 and BG check for each one! $25+ please!
Doesnt look like they do.
It's unfortunately a situation where the conservative component of the state's population is being dominated by arrogant ultra-liberal Tyrants centered around NYC.
Whether it's "Republicans" like Michael Bloomberg or Democrats like Cuomo, New York City resides in an alternate universe of "progressive" authoritarian delusion.
God bless and speed to you. We in my home state welcome any victory, to any state, over tyranny, no matter how slight.
Oh and BTW. Wishes from the state that has Ruger in Prescott AZ..that is Preskit to the locals.
Congrats anyways!
Don't waste your time.
It's too late to save New York.
Thanks for the ping!
Speaking of HUD. Look into the nEw Oleans Pic newspaper archives just before Katrina. They were exposing the entire Landreau HUD scam in the ninth. Houses purchased for less the 3,000 brining in HUD repair money of over $300,000 and that was before the gates flooded. Seems like the flooding stopped the investigation. Being head of HUD just helps one navigate the loopholes once out of office
Or what if the gun is a revolver?
Gun control rarely makes sense.
Or has an attached catchment system to collect the used cartridges.
Or...the electrically fired gun with in line bullets...no firing pin required,
Or.......a throw away 3D printed gun
It's not important. Very few people legally buy a gun, kill people with it, and then hope to escape discovery. Outside of going postal, crimes are committed with stolen guns. Additionally, microstamping entirely wears out after a day at the range (100-200 rounds are enough, reportedly.) Lawmakers know that, and they do not care about practical use of microstamping. Fighting the crime is not in their interests anyway. They simply want to erect more roadblocks for legal ownership of firearms. S&W's refusal to sell in CA is already an unmitigated victory for gun grabbers; that's the only purpose of the law. The 2A may say that you are free to keep and bear arms... but the state says: the gun has to be made from pure gold. How many people will be able to own such a gun?
“I don’t get it. What is to stop a gun owner from simply changing he firing pin? “
Doubt if you have to go that far. Just a little polishing and the MS is gone! MS isn’t about gun safety, it’s about cutting off the supply of semi-automatic handguns. Here in CA the matter of MS is already going to court. It’s actually less hair brained than the other “features” that would make a handgun unusable to anyone but the “registered owner.” Californians bought something on the order of 725,000 guns in 2012, double what it was three years ago.
