Has anyone found that Cornyn has BROKEN THE LAW with respect to pensions. No?

While economically gang banging the American private sector, it's all good and legal right?

Are you suggesting thousands of others in government, regardless of what private political country club they belong to, are not getting rich off the tax payers too?

Cornyn cut military retiree pensions.

While he lines his own pockets.....

Be very aware of those here who suggested these "public servants" becoming wealthy while they jump from one government office to another is just perfectly fine and honorable.

Hey, this guy is in the R club~!

I don’t see what is wrong with someone collecting a legally earned pension.

If the folks in that state decide to change the laws, that’s fine too.

I don’t know the specifics.
If the state laws need to be changed, that’s fine.

I collect pensions from three different companies that I worked at over a lifetime plus Social Security and am on Medicare.

Are you suggesting as these “public servants” getting wealthy moving from one government office to another are not a huge factor in regards to government corruption?

Don’t you mean he voted for a bill that reduced the rate of cost of living increase for military pensions?

Is that you, Karl?

I don’t know the specifics.
Are laws being broken here?
Or do the laws need to be changed?

I collect pensions from 3 different companies.
I don’t think that is morally wrong.
I don’t see on the face of it where doing so from 3 different govt jobs is morally wrong.

Are you suggesting as these “public servants” get wealthy moving from one government office to another are not a huge factor in regards to massive government corruption?

Why are you evading the question?

All I can say is if the law is morally wrong, then the people of the state should change it. I’m not familiar with his particular financial numbers.

I collect pensions from 3 different companies plus Social Security.

You're evading the question.

Why is that?

Are you playing the stupid game?

I think it’s strange that Democrats do NOT get in trouble for breaking laws (Corzine, Kennedy, Clinton, Obama, Lerner etc.) but Republicans DO get in trouble for LEGAL behavior that can be twisted by fast-talking liers to “look” bad.

If you prefer the “Rule of Men” to the “Rule of Law”, I expect you see a “Democrat” in your mirror....

Ask hard legitimate questions, and people run for the tall grass...

Suddenly all these politicians and governemnt career hacks jumping from office to office, decade after decade, getting wealthier and wealthier, is good and honorable and has resulted in smaller, less intrusive, less corrupt government, with fabulous leadership...

When my father died, he was receiving pensions from the military, from two private companies (each of which had employed him for more than 10 years) and from social security.

It was the boredom of NOT working that killed him.

“Not a friggin chance...”

Are you saying that the person who told me that Murdock (sp) and Akin had LOST their elections in 2012 was mis-informed?

Hey DJ,

I don’t want you over-stressing your little gray cells about my “handle”.

The “o” in pfony1 stands for “of”.
and the “ny” stands for a place on the East Coast.

More on topic: In 2014, either the Democrats will win or the Republicans will win. That’s it. If Republicans win, there is a CHANCE we can stop the willful destruction of America. There is a CHANCE that, each year, MORE Conservatives will be elected.

If Democrats win, those chances are smaller.

We patriots would appreciate your vote in 2012.

But, if you want to support Obama’s team in 2012, how can we stop you?
