Travis L. Gosa, Ph.D., is assistant professor of Africana studies at Cornell University, where his research focuses on racial inequality and African-American youths. He has written for Ebony, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Fox News and a number of academic journals.
I guess we need more professors of Male Caucasiana. Hey! We’re victims too!
Oh, brother!
Why Are White Black Men Like Michael Dunn Travis Gosa So Angry Stupid?
Fixed it.
Query: Are there any conservative black PhDs coming along to take over when Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell, Shelby Steele, Ellis Washington, David Almasi, Herman Cain, Ken Hamblin, Roy and Niger Innis, The Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, and Alan Keyes (no offense, I am sure I have left out a few black conservative leaders), become less active in the national discourse?
We seem to have a plethora of angry LIEberal black “leaders,” whose sole talent, so far as I can tell, is to stir the racist pot and create even more racial hate and discontent.
So far as I am aware, NO LIEberal black scholar, politician, preacher or “community organizer” devotes much, if ANY time, money or energy trying to heal the “racial divide” they rail on and on about, ad nauseum.
The race grievance industry is alive and well, and so long as the race pimps like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Corrine Brown, Elijah Cummings, Keith Ellison, Alcee Hastings, Sheila Jackson Lee, John Lewis, Charlie Wrangle, (sic) Maxine Waters, et al can live large and gain “fame” spreading their racist venom throughout our society, they will continue to do so and will continue to divide and conquer the USA.
THEY MUST BE MARGINALIZED!
It is my observation that virtually ALL of the racioal healing effort is manifested by black and white conservatives — without the assistance of ANY LIEberal.
Of course, LIEberals debunk all of these, I believe, sincere, efforts exerted by conservatives to cause us to come together and work together as one Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Dr. Martin Luther King got it right, but the race pimps didn’t get the memo: we are to judge our fellow Americans by the content of their character.
Perhaps we can take them down a notch or two in November?
Another “academic” who can’t be bothered to avail himself of the facts.
Give Michael Dunn a medal and a pension.
We need to declare open season on barbarians.
Could it be that we’re tired of being home invaded, robbed, burglarized, and knockout gamed to death and then forced to pay for their welfare and Obamaphones while they vote a treasonous tyrant into office twice. Yeah, I think we havd a right to be a little more than angry.
Like most of the left right how, he is taking one or two anecdotal examples and ignoring the whole picture. The vast majority of black men/kids killed are by fellow blacks. I bet it’s in the 95% range or higher. This guy is intentionally ignoring that to whoop up his reader-base.
IF..... Obama has anything to say about it..
Oh stuff it, Travis. The statistics about black on black killings, combined with your Ph.D., exposes you as a deliberate, stinking, bald-faced, race-baiting liar.
his research focuses on racial inequality and African-American youths
Research?
Cowflop explodes..
What's causing blacks to kill other blacks at a much higher level? It's a problem the black community seems to want to avoid.
Another racist crock o Shiite from a wannabe slave victim
looking to pillory anyone and everyone for is gross inadequacies and lack of self esteem.
Just sayin'.
Wholesome American culture IS under siege not by blackness but buy a society that has no morals or self responsibility and it’s a direct result of the liberal, progressive agenda.
Read the comments: there’s the problem...
Why should whites see blacks’ boxers, when they wear their pants under their GD butts? Why should their have to have their music louder then a jet taking off? Why should blacks have their own TV channel like BET, while we can’t have ‘White Entertainment Television’?

Ubeffinbelievable.
There is no excuse for what Dunn did. None. I don’t care how offended someone is by professional victims, by Obama, by NAACP socialist idiocy, by the profane vulgar lyrics of “rap” music, by them mocking Dunn and insulting him.
There is no conceivable excuse. I don’t care about the histrionics of the professional victim class, either.
The only reasonable response is that one of those kids should have shot this bitter, vitriolic, lying murderous man right between the eyes for the crap he pulled.
Have I been offended by the death in elements of the black culture in America? Sure. Picking a fight with punk hoodlums blasting profane rap while carrying is nothing less than stupid muderous violence.
People exhorting the black community to take out its own trash need to take a long look in the mirror over this one.
Dunn deserves to die on this one. No other way to say it.
