Saudi Arabia wasn't and isn't a hostile country. This is where 15 of the 19 911 hijackers came from. We need to screen visa applicants better and insure the data from the various intelligence agencies are included in the visa lookout system.
We have 50 million visitors each year coming on various kinds of visas. In addition, there are about 900,000 foreign students attending our universities. Huge numbers.
It shouldn’t be a bipartisan panel.
The Legislature of Arizona, New Mexico, California and Texas should be unanimous.
No one should care if the legislature in Arizona refuses to declare the border secure even if it is dominated by GOP.
Jerry Brown, Martinez, Rick Perry and Bill Richardson cant be trusted to declare whether the border is safe.
Maybe a better idea. Get a ballot measure in each border state. Let constituents in border states decide if the border is secure and whether they want an onslaught of illegals.
Rand Paul doesn’t mention the Muslim visa overstayers that he must know about because he filibustered over Disabled Muzzies on welfare trying to blow up Kentucky.
Hope you are wrong. The post November period will be the riskiest.
Correct and IMHO after the next amnesty we will have the same situation.
I think there may be an easier way. Start charging The illegal’s home country for their medical bills or any other costs incurred by the illegal alien. Those governments will stop people from crossing our border pronto. At least IMHO.
The House of Saud may not be hostile to the House of Obama or the House of Bush; but the same can’t be said about how hostile the people there are to America.
Sen. Paul does talk about Muslim visa overstayers. I posted something from his old campaign website about it upthread, eg.
I lived there for 5 years. I don’t agree with you.
Secure the borders first.
