I really hate to agree with a statement like that... but I must. I think for a very large segment of his supporters, that's exactly how they view it, and how they view just about everything: in your face, "retribution", us against them. And it pre-dates Obuttwipe. Think Charlie Rangel, Marion Berry, Jesse Jackson. It's just risen to new heights since Dear Leader came to power. My gawd, what a pathetic state we're in.

I hope those who criticize the dress are not setting themselves up for embarrassment. In the past, those dresses have been donated, for publicity purposes of the designer. The jewelry is usually on loan.
It is still shockingly extravagant in appearance when so many are suffering economically.

Perfect! You would think with all the taxpayer money the King and Queen blow they could afford at least one mirror so the Queen could see how ridiculous she looks before going out in public.
