In case some of you didn’t notice, Corvette Daytona Prototypes took first, second and third overall at the Daytona 24 Hours this year.

Wait... What’s all this stuff about “Corporate Greed”???
Over-earning CEO’s???
I thought these are the folks who are stealing from the little guys! The minorities!!!
Shouldn’t we burn her???
I’m so confused...

Don’t think that the former CEO did not have a long term comp plan as well. The 10 mil is not yearly salary, it is the kind of things execs get when they stick around for whatever period of time specified in the long term comp plan agreement. A one time payment when she leaves after having stayed long enough for the plan to kick in.
This article is intentionally misleading.

Actually, I think this is the rebuttal to an earlier story that drove the meme that she was being paid less than her male predecessor. I guess the facts are getting in the way, now.

The wife's Ford Focus has 260,000 miles with minimal problems. No engine or trans. problems. Burns maybe a pint or two of oil between oil changes which happen religiously. No oil leaks etc. Great car so far. It’s a 2005.
