Oh, jeez, I hate laws that have names. Though, in this case, it appears to fit. Just wish they'd left it at Bill 7019 or whatever.
“The only good thing is that she is now with God... happy, joyful and shielded from any pain or abuse. Rest in peace, little one.”
Amen. She is at peace in the loving arms of the Lord.
“2 liters of soda will make your brain swell and possibly rupture??”
In addition to an unspecified quantity of water, yes. An electrolyte imbalance is surprisingly easy to cause by over-hydration. This is especially true if you’re force-feeding a small child in order to torture them, to the point that they vomit and soil themselves repeatedly, as the parents in this case did.
It’s common to see this in endurance athletes and marathon runners, their blood serum concentration of electrolytes, especially sodium, drop due to excessive sweating and high water intake, and due to the resultant change in osmotic pressure cells in the body start to swell.
Well, the brain doesn’t have much wiggle-room where swelling is concerned - an increase in intracranial pressure can very quickly lead to brain damage and death.
And, since there’s a shortage of drugs for lethal injection, I have a suggestion about how the murdering parents in this case should be executed.
You sound just like my wife. If she gets in charge, we won’t have Death Row. We’ll have Death Week.
These two rodents shouldn’t be seeing the alarm clock tomorrow.
Yeah, that makes sense. Shasta costs a whopping $1.79 for a 3-liter. Kid probably took 11 cents worth!
Dreadful. RIP.
Throw them in the clinker? How about just toss them off a nice high cliff. You’re far too kind.
These stories are so hard to swallow. I have three young kids and I can’t imagine this, but it always seems to put my own kid’s faces in my mind being anguished when I see stuff like this.
this wasn’t done out of evilness....it was done out of stupidity.....
I want to hurt them.
