Yeah, and Rush made her famous enough to win by calling her a "slut." If Rush had been 10 years old and said that about a teen-age floozy in his neighborhood, his mother would probably have RIGHTLY swatted his butt and made him sit in the corner for exhibiting such bad manners and ugly self-righteousness.

But no, Rush was in his 50s, and God's punishment (Fluke running for office with an actual chance to win because of angry folks who would vote for her just because she's the gal Limbaugh called a "slut") is a lot more harsh than Rush's mom's would have been.

On his radio show, Rush could have conveyed the same message objecting to Fluke in a more classy, gentlemanlike, Christian way. He ignored what he knew was right -- and these are the consequences.

Way to go, Rush.
