“Too bad it took Mr Room Temp IQ so long to figure out what your typical second grade private school student already knew.”

Even the public school “free & reduced lunch” second-graders KNEW this.

sorry Kerry

as bad as it sounds, we can let Assad take care of the Islamist terrorists,

because in fact many of them are in the “opposition” (from the start), many of them were supported and financed by some of our so-called “friends”

and none of them would have been given the opportunities they have had in Sryia recently if the whole thing had not begun with our own covert “regime change” agenda against Assad that masqueraded as a “civil war” when its core was actually always with the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood, engaged by us and the Saudis to spearhead our regime change agenda, while - just as they did in Afghanistan - spearheading the Saudis own Sunni-dominance Islamist agenda

this time, unlike in Afghanistan, the whole dual agenda - us using our “friends” and our “friends” using us, against OUR best interest, has come unmasked before the entire thing could reach anyone’s desired conclusions

as bad as it also seems, Assad cannot expect the “peace negotiations” to be anything other than a back door attempt to let the Islamist interests in Syria into power

if we really wanted Russian and Iranian influence in Syria to not expand, we would not have set about knowingly help create the situation (which we did) where Assad would most assuredly call for their increased assistance - but that’s what WE DID, and the whole thing started before Obama; he just happened to be the WH occupant when a decade long regime change agenda burst from its covert lairs into the open

the neo-cons never went away, too bad

Time for troops to come home and let the locals kill themselves.

But, Barry said that Al-Qaeda was our best ally when it came to toppling the evil dictator Bashar al Assad.

Bingo!! It has been driving him crazy that he was so near but yet so far the last time he ran. The only reason he took the Sec. State job was he is so full of himself that thought he would be the guy who brought peace to the Middle East and he would ride that into the WH.

I was skeptical on first read as well. However, it might make sense if Kerry thinks he could regain the 2016 presidential nomination by throwing Hillary and Obama under the bus.

Since his entire scummy life has been geared toward achieving that goal, I would not put this past him.

Thanks SeekAndFind.
Secretary of State John Kerry has lost faith in his own administration’s Syria policy, he told fifteen U.S. Congressmen in a private, off-the-record meeting, according to two of the senators who were in the room. Kerry also said he believes the regime of Bashar al Assad is failing to uphold its promise to give up its chemical weapons according to schedule; that the Russians are not being helpful in solving the Syrian civil war; and that the Geneva 2 peace talks that he helped organize are not succeeding. But according to the senators, Kerry now wants to arm Syria’s rebels—in part, to block the local al Qaeda affiliates who have designs on attacking the U.S.
Sounds like Kerry's trying to Swiftboat us.

That fool is going to run for President.

Yep.

And that fool is in a position to uncover everything there is to know about Benghazi...and force Shillary from the field.

The Clintons torpedoed his candidacy in 2004 so that the Democrat field would be clear for Hillary in 2008. Now, Lurch is in a position to exact revenge.

Whatever he proposes as an alternative may be drastic, but it’s bound to be stupid.
