They should advertise it as “Low Calorie” or “Lite” gasoline.
The problem is ethanol not alcohol. Butanol is a great fuel additive / gasoline replacement
Just looked at my local gas station.
Regular ethanol(E-10) gas is $3.04 per gallon.
Regular ethanol-free gas is $3.95 per gallon.
That is quite a big difference in price!
Not as much as a new engine or mower because the ethanol destroyed it.
mine goes off when temps stay below 55F. I ignore it because pressures are fine at 32-34 psi. as confirmed by digital pressure gage i keep in car.
damn dealership says “just add 4-5 more pounds of air”
(they be hoping i’m stupid enough to overinflate, and buy new chinese tires from them......not...)
Very true!
100LL? Is that like the old 100 octane that we used to be able to get at any gas station when I learned to drive in the early 60s?
Dude, those breaks have been gone for two(?) years now.
This site helps you find (and avoid) petrol stations selling E-15.

Snopes has an entry about E-15.

What to know about the E-15 gas blend (they downplay its problems)

RO or ‘distilled’ water, carefully measured.
More than that if you're pulling a load, and in my experience the loss is proportional to the size of the load. In other words ethanol is just a way of watering down real gasoline without using water.
I’ve heard that aviation gas burns a bit hotter than automobile gas...
The only reason E-15 was brought to market was a powerful Washington lobby for it why I don’t care to use it. If there was some real reason why it’s better then I’ll listen.
Didn’t those go away in 2011?

It’s also VERY illegal for road use.
put a stopper on it and shake well and allow it to sit until the gas and water separate into different layers
if the water layer is higher up the side of the test tube than it was before you added the gasoline, the gas contains ethanol...
“Batteries in the sensors. Not lifetime and they can go bad before you get out of warranty.”
There are other things on a vehicle that are also not covered by warranty. Filters, and bulbs and breaks etc. Having them not covered should not be a problem.
the puregas here isn't regular, it's plus
You can replace the batteries yourself, I’ve done it.
