Yeah, I know.

I keep trying to convince myself.

Case in point, Himself just bought some home made fudge at a gas station and asked me to open the wrapper.

I fiddled with it for 2 seconds, which made me miss part of a good song so I sliced it apart with an 11” switchblade, instead.

We have a bit of a marital disconnect.

:)

Great stays great.

So true!

I saw "The Wall" back in February 1980.....Gilmore standing atop the wall that was constructed during the show and playing his solo in Comfortably Numb was a site to see.

Great night!!

SAN ANTONIO — The family of Leanne Hecht Bearden, 33, said Monday she did not walk away voluntarily, as the Garden Ridge police chief asserted Sunday.

A few. It’s near Natural Bridge Caverns and wildlife ranch. Lots of terrain to look at in those parts.

Who financed their lifestyle?

Quite possibly them. But feel free to presume the worst. It fits you.

It Fits Me? Really? ...fits most police investigations Sir.

I know the area. The in-laws' house (nice middle class neighborhood) is wooded with lots of oak and elm, there are lots of caves, rivers, hills, a large pond and a huge quarry. Natural Bridge Caverns is there and many small unnamed holes in the ground. Lots of places to bury a body. Mexico is right down the road, too. http://kxan.com/2014/01/26/search-continues-for-missing-woman-in-comal-co/ Authorities from more than 15 state agencies searched for Bearden on Saturday, using canines, horses, ATVs, and aerial support to cover more that 23 square miles... A man trimming trees across the street reportedly saw Bearden leave the home January 17. Garden Ridge police say they interviewed that man and verified the time she left the home by herself, and that everything appeared fine... Leanne is a marathon runner, and has run in the Boston marathon, and many races in Austin.

Yes, lots of terrain. It’d be next to impossible to find a body there unless you tripped over it.

There are days that I just feel like gassing up the Harley and going west until my feet get wet.

*shrug*

It passes.

Mostly.

Good thing, too. Otherwise you'd just end up in California. Talk about out of the frying pan, into the fire...

So then are the police calling off the search because the terrain is too tough or because they think she marathoned herself away as they’ve claimed.

The husband is not in Colorado. They were both in Garden Ridge,Texas visiting his parents. She went for a walk and hasn’t returned. He graduated from Texas A&M University and they both have many friends in this area.

My guess is that they financed the trip through donations and sponsors.

He could have been in Texas, not CO. The convo they had doesn’t sound a like a phone call convo. Why would he ask how long she was going to be gone if he was several states away?

Article doesn’t state he is in CO, but that they were to fly home to Denver which assumes he was in TX.

It sounds like it was a substantial search:

Authorities from more than 15 state agencies searched for Bearden on Saturday, using canines, horses, ATVs, and aerial support to cover more that 23 square miles. KXAN was included in the search, exclusively invited by TEXSAR to document the search on Saturday.

I’m a true crime buff, of course I assume the worst. Husbands are always the first suspect, even if the police say they aren’t. And my presumption does make sense (that he was there in TX).
