I’ve been noticiing ads trying to get businesses to relocate to NY (state, I think) recently, with some tax incentives or along that line.

I expect the remarks by these two fools have caused the advertising money to be a complete waste. (And it was probably taxpayer money, to boot!).

Let see GE had fifty Thousand workers in Schenectady ..today 2,500 I think…Schenectady and upstate look like Detroit….The only area upstate not in depression is the Albany..Sarasota area.. All the government workers live there.. I got out in 1980

Just when I think that the second Holocaust will never happen, that it could never happen again, I hear this kind of nonsense..somewhere in hell, Hitler is proud, this is EXACTLY how he spoke..first he wanted those who didnt agree with him to get out, then he wanted them dead..then they were put into ovens..that is how it starts, first they want us out and then they want us dead..if I lived in New York I would have been gone YESTERDAY

Every time I hear this mortal men crow I am remind of the fate of King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4:28-34

28 All this happened to King Nebuchadnezzar. 29 Twelve months later, as the king was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, 30 he said, “Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?”

31 Even as the words were on his lips, a voice came from heaven, “This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar: Your royal authority has been taken from you. 32 You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.”

33 Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from people and ate grass like the ox. His body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird.

34 At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever.

His mother was 44 years old when he was born, and he has two older brothers, Steven and Donald.[8]..De Blasio has stated that he was 7 years old when his father first left home and 8 years old when his parents divorced.[9] In a 2012 interview, de Blasio described his upbringing: "[My dad] was an officer in the Pacific in the army, [and fought] in an extraordinary number of very, very difficult, horrible battles, including Okinawa…. And I think honestly, as we now know about veterans who return, [he] was going through physically and mentally a lot…. He was an alcoholic, and my mother and father broke up very early on in the time I came along, and I was brought up by my mother's family—that's the bottom line—the de Blasio family."[10] In September 2013, de Blasio revealed that his father committed suicide in 1979 while suffering from incurable lung cancer.[11]

Could a second American revolution also be not far away either?

NY will get hit again one day and when they do... they are on their own. We sent a new Firetruck and 2 million dollars up there... that will not happen after this. They are on their own. They should start thinking about that!

Can you imagine what would happen to New York of all (that means every damn one of the conservatives) stopped paying their real estate taxes? (It wouldn’t take very long before there was a new governor in town.) Yes, it might take a few years but I can tell you from my experience, it would literally financially break New York’s back. Don’t believe me, check with your county treasurer’s, they will agree with me.

“What would happen if these two guys said that Jews don’t belong in New York State?”

As the Jews go, so goes the money! And maybe enough progressive votes to give conservatives a chance in NY elections.

ans: they’d still get their freebies from conservatives... but instead of grabbing it via state taxes, they’d get it thru fed taxes, as the fed backs up state spending.

this is something people seem to miss.

The problem is the single women. The neighborhood hasn’t changed that much ethnically. Run a lefty woman and you have good odds of beating the Pubbies. We used to call it The Girl Ghetto back when I lived there. It was considered a safe neighborhood and is fashionable still if you’re not a downtown type of person. Some of these women even become Republicans because it is more fun and less declasse, but then they vote “for the person, not the party” (translation: they spend more time having their hair done than reading the newspaper, so they don’t know what the real issues are).

Another factor is all the apartments that are still owned by the wealthy but the wealthy no longer live there officially. They are in a state with no state income tax for 183 days a year, and then they have to vote there, not in New York.

Too many conservatives view politics as a polite debating society, while leftists view it as a life or death struggle. in the case of the Xlintoons that is not hyperbole, ask Alamo Girl.

Why are there so many Republican “tell all” books and why so few Democrat “tell all” books? Because Democrats know they will sleep with the fishes.
