In order to call Gingrich's comment racist, he had to give it an incorrect interpretation. Gingrich did not say, "Blacks want food stamps instead of jobs." He was actually saying, "All that blacks are getting from Obama is food stamps; his policies are not growing the economy and creating new jobs."

His approval rating dropped because of his policies - a sluggish economy with unemployment still at well-above-average levels, massive NSA snooping on virtually every citizen, IRS targeting of political opponents, bungling and lying related to Benghazi, and - above all - the disastrous, incompetent rollout of the ACA. Keep your slanderous charges of "coded" racism to yourself.
