Actually, Americans mostly resist that urge. Study after study show that Americans, unlike the rest of the world, don’t hate the rich. They envy their neighbor, BIL and friend who seems to be better off than they are, but otherwise they’re amazingly indifferent as to the wealthy in general.
Have you read America 3.0? I highly recommend it.
Right from a Stalin’s book. He has to start with digging a world biggest channel linking Pacific and Arctic Oceans. Rerouting a Mississipi river into the Arizona Desert is a good idea too. Big Gulf of Mexico has to share it’s water wealth with Southwest.
