maybe the wedding wasn’t shown but they sure did show the float...
i didn’t know what the hell it was- two ugly guys waving like crazy with a black female pastor on top of this float...then al roker starts talking how the float was sponsored by “the xyz group for social justice” and i remembered reading the story here...
Dunno how long they usually take to post. It’s been 4 days, so far.
Don’t you find it ironic that they were aboard the AIDS float? To me, this was a reminder to all a very strong possibility of the consequences of their “gay” lifestyle.
Two words. Phil Robertson.
Wonder why they haven’t posted ratings for the parade yet?
does anyone really care?
Aug 31, 2005: Scheduled was the "Southern Decadence" annual party the homosexuals have in New Orleans...http://www.southerndecadence.com/events2005.htm
And on Aug 29, 2005, what strikes New Orleans? (Hurricane Katrina)
I hope someone tells him that. Maybe he’ll speak up MORE!!
We did not watch it this year.
Same here.
Amen to that. There are no multiple wives either, no matter what the Mormons say. And there is no polyandry either!
From the Internet: Polyandry is a practice wherein a woman has more than one husband at the same time. Polyandry is believed to be more likely in societies with scarce environmental resources, as it is believed to limit human population growth and enhance child survival.
It is a rare form of marriage that exists not only among poor families, but also the elite. For example, in the Himalayan Mountains polyandry is related to the scarcity of land; the marriage of all brothers in a family to the same wife allows family land to remain intact and undivided. If every brother married separately and had children, family land would be split into unsustainable small plots.
In Europe, this was prevented through the social practice of impartible inheritance (the dis-inheriting of most siblings, many who went on to become celibate monks and priests).

The Tibetan wife has to please several husbands, cook and clean for all of them. She would be pregnant ALL HER LIFE. Yow. If ever I think I have it bad I need only think of those poor Tibetan women.
Marriage: ONE man and ONE woman, NOT related to each other.
Now, if something could be done with the ABYSSMAL divorce rate.
Daytime TV is not supposed to be unfit for children, who are homophobic because none choose to be born to homosexual couples.
Someone named their kid Aubrey Loots? No wonder he(?) became sexually abnormal. Or was it chosen as a protest against normality?
I saw it on channel 11 in LA. Is that Fox? With Stephanie Edwards and Bob Eubanks. I saw them throw confetti and kiss. It was not a close up.
The ratings were lower by at least 1. My wife had it on (she had (and still has) no idea)...I grabbed the remote from her and quickly turned to something else, since my kids of 10 and 8 were in the room.
Knowing what was possibly in the broadcast; I quickly nullified its viewing for all but 20 seconds.
Too bad. Another American Tradition ruined and gone forever. My kids will probably never know there is/was a Rose Bowl Parade Broadcast tradition on New Year’s Day.
I can only guess that the pre-parade publicity made it clear that very few people actually wanted to see it.
I was a bit concerned about watching the Rose Parade this year. Heaven knows, there was enough PC garbage in the float descriptions—but I was glad not to see the gay “marriage” float.
Even the ones that say they are all for it don’t want to face up to it, is my observation. The liberal universe of discourse is entirely rhetorical and political. The day to day realities, that I see, are based in traditional family values. It’s not hard to figure out, really, because facts is facts. It’s a matter of thermodynamics.
I already planned to not watch anything that had to do with the sodomite wedding: the parade and the football game. Have no idea who won and don’t care.
Money?
I believe Honda USA was the primary sponsor and they are based out of Alabama.
Would suck to have a bunch of Americans choose Toyota or Nissan for their next auto.
