About as much as what Robbins says is ever the truth.
They are both true statements.
I don’t think Robbins is a Catholic, but I don’t know so I won’t say.
Tim Robbins’ character in The Shawshank Redemption was repeatedly raped while in prison.
Robbins is a liar, little different from other celeb attention whores who need to go public about phony childhood abuse.
He must have a movie coming out.
The question, was it a “weird” priest.
It would have to be a weird priest who had independently developed the ability to bypass the laws of physics and time travel with a group of 10 year olds.
Who is Tim Robbins and why should we care what movies he saw thirty years ago ?
“Who is Tim Robbins and why should we care what movies he saw thirty years ago ?”
I don’t care what movies he saw 30 years ago or yesterday. I do care that he is currently running around telling lies and attacking Catholics.
I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt... after all a guy who spent 20 years shagging Susan Sarandon in all her psycho glory is probably an expert at blocking memories.
Sure, Tim. Whatever you say.
D-bag.
Unfortunately, there were a number of priests at the time who were doing a variety of things with young boys that they should not have been doing.

So Timmy, do you like gladiator movies?
I would imagine even those priests who transgressed privately tried to avoid the appearance of scandal in public, not to mention the fact that society had yet to be fully debased; I doubt Americans in 1972 would be so understanding seeing a priest taking young chilredn to an R-rated movie.
