This isn’t exact but it is close enough.

The upper middle class pays for everything in taxes, the lower middle class pays by sending their children to fight the wars. The middle class pays for damn near everything because the elite pull the strings so they don’t have to pay and the poor have a hard enough time just getting from day to day.

Where I live, the people from the local reservation dominate the ER, often with their sick children, who need to see a doctor, but the Medicaid doctors don’t have an appointment open until the next week.

Of course, the last time there was the young woman who was six months pregnant and a heroin addict, who thought that she might be having a miscarriage.

Bottom line is that Medicaid is nothing but a stop gap service that was never intended to take the place of health insurance and no one in their right mind would willing subject their family to it if they had the choice.
