If you go to the WND source article, there’s a link there about the book.
“With each passing year, we regrettably get more stories of college athletes acting up and getting in trouble with the law. From armed robbery to rape, there appears to be no crime that college athletes arent capable of committing.”.
Unfortunately, this is NOTHING NEW. These so called “athletes” have been pampered and made to believe that they are “special” and can/are allowed do ANYTHING they want since early in their young lives. They begin to believe they are indeed special and carry that attitude into their future and later lives as well. We hear about that all the time from the professional sports world. IMO, they are NOT special unless they commit those crimes and only THEN become special. Yes, there are the good athletes but we don’t hear about them and you don’t have to ask yourelf, “why not?”
But . . . but that’s different.
I can guarantee that if someone erects those little triangular nets in the wrong neighborhood, they will be torn down by vandals within a week.
No, but they will fume when they get an affirmative action admittance to an elite university and find out that there is sport dominated by whites. Blacks do grouse about the popularity of ice hockey, perceiving it as a way for whites to enjoy a sport without having to cheer for black players.
Reversal of fortune as now it’s a rich white girl accusing a poor black boy of a heinous crime. Not to mention State Attorney, Willie Meggs, has FSU undergrad and law degrees.
