This is no longer about haing immigration to fill jobs; this is about immigration to fill school seats and housing (as the American-American birthrate hovers barely above 0). Remember the news story that more white people died last year than were born? How do you think they’ll address that? The housing market will never recover if we simply contract as a population, and the teachers’ unions certainly aren’t going to start shuttering schools as we did factories...

That just leaves skilled Americans on the dole. The imported underclass is desired by the artificial poverty industry, while the imported skilled workers are desired by companies; both work against the interest of working, taxpaying Americans (and insure that the marginally unemployable will always be unemployed). If we didn’t import cheap unskilled labor, the private sector would fix our education/vocation training system.

Completely agree. Their are very few tradesmen anymore. Instead we have imported coolies working for low wages to appease the cheap labor lobby.

I’m still shocked that those most directly impacted by the immigration policy (or lack of one) still voted in droves for Obama. When I see whole departments staffed by Hispanics, I see jobs taken directly from lower-skilled Americans of any color.
