Mitch McConnell is already planning that as new Senate Majority Leader in 2015, he will renounce the nuclear option and let the Democrats block any Republican initiatives with a filibuster threat.

The Republicans need to IMMEDIATELY call the House bill for repealing 0bamacare. Let Harry Reid explain why they aren’t allowed to vote on that.

There is only one year until the mid-term election, where we have every opportunity to pack the Senate if we don’t give the Democrats ANYTHING to use as ammunition against the Republicans. Right now, what Republicans need to do is follow the same M.O. as Obamacare, delay and deny. But the delay must come before the election, so we can deny after the election.
McConnel should be dragged from office. He is a danger to the nation. He should be defeated next year regardless.

Frankly, I think they did this because the Democrats are scared to death of what’s going to happen to them in the 2014 elections due to the Obamacare debacle.
As such, they are determined to pack the courts now as much as they can with far-left-wing Democrats that would favorable to them over any bills and election challenges in 2014 and 2016.
I have to laugh at all the “just wait until the Republicans take over” posts here. If they do get a majority there will always be a few across the aisle types. Hell, they might even reinstate the 60 vote rule for nominees in the interest of healing old wounds so we can all just get along.
