Whether or not we deserve the ‘party of no’ moniker, changing our image would actually require us to have a plan.

Nominating a RINO with as much of a liberal record as the rat opponent. And having a plan that is basically a hope and change redoux is not going to win elections.

Conservatives to GOPe: stop parroting Dem talking points if you want our support.

“Exactly. Why is it that some R’s, ostensibly conservatives, buy the ememedia line that republican party is the ‘no’ party. Cruz/Lee/Palin don’t talk that way.”

You miss the point. The IMAGE must go. What did Romney and the republicans offer? Doesn’t matter. There was no message for the future. Obama was elected on HOPE. The republicans were defeated on NO HOPE.

Take note GOP:

If you abandon social issues, I will abandon you.

Just like I did for Bush #1, Dole, McCain and Romney.

Did that work for you?

If Christie is a conservative, than I am a virgin. Jeesh.

I think what Republicans need to do, is speak the truth, boldly and repetitively.....like Ted Cruz has been doing.

They also need to not let others shut them down....they need to stand up firm for principles, morals and values that MOST of Americans hold dear. Like GOD, marriage, family, faith and honor.

And one more thing to add, is Republicans need to stop defending MODERATES or giving them a pass. These “moderates” are PROGRESSIVES, and THEY are what is wrong with the Republican party, to begin with. If you protect, or cover, for these “moderates”, then you need to go too, IMO.

Indeed, Walker seems to be totally accepting the whole biased media paradigm. You’re already behind the eight-ball when you start from this vantage point. A recipe for defeat.

Plus, telling the GOP to run away from social issues? Where has the GOP actually been pushing them in the past few years? 95% of the time, it’s the Dems and their media minions stoking those flames. War on women, etc. And the GOP running away like cowardly rabbits.

More and more unimpressed with Walker. As if his embrace of amnesty wasn’t already enough.

This is a false meme. It’s a Dem talking point and it will never go away if GOPe types are wielding it like a sledge hammer on conservatives.

The truth is the House passed piles of bills that the Dems tabled in the Senate.

The truth is the kenyan flat abdicated his constitutionally required duties by refusing to negotiate over the debt limit.

Etc., etc., etc.

The GOPe will continue to lose if they refuse to be an engaged opposition party and return fire at this slander.

Sorry, but the GOP has NOT been the party of “NO!” very long. It has to be forced to say “NO!” most of the time. Quit listening to the party hacks telling how they could garner more support if they weren’t forced to keep conservative standards. If people don’t want to adhere to conservative standards, there are SEVERAL other parties with open arms. GO! PLEASE! Why are we demanding purity for a change? Because it is time that the party whose platform states they support small government, family values, less government intervention in our lives really lives up to that once elected. Otherwise, they are no better (liars) than the democrats.

Now I want my money back.

I used to support him.

I’m turning back his fundraising e-mails and calls now.

Scott Walker is on the wrong side.

This was an attack on conservatives and Ted Cruz without naming them specifically.

Turn it into a positive!

No - to big government

No - to huge, crippling debt to other countries

No - to depending on oil from our enemies

No - to socialized medicine

No - to confiscating our guns

No - to lies and cover-ups

No - to decimating the constitution

Etc., etc.

Geez - NO is good if you use it correctly! Be proud to be the party of NO.

Walker is trying to get the GOP to concentrate on the economy and take voters minds off the fact that he is for Amnesty.

Not really. Reagan gave us hope. Obama gave us HOPE. What did the GOP party offer?
