I've had a question rattling around my head to which i can't seem to find an answer. It is my understanding that a person is supposed to be able to log in to a government website, answer questions, make selections, go to checkout, pay a premium and receive a policy/coverage.
Now, this is where I'm getting confused because it seems the government is acting as an agent in the sale of the policy. So, who gets the commission and what of the thousands of state licensed agents who are losing income from direct government competition?
